Community guidelines
How we treat each other on VágyLak: consent, respect, real profiles and safety. These guidelines are part of the Terms.
Overview
1. Respect for everyone
VágyLak brings together many kinds of people, desires and relationships: singles, couples, people in open relationships, people of different orientations and gender identities. You do not have to agree with everything, but you may not hurt, humiliate or harass anyone. Hate based on sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, origin, colour, religion, disability, age, body type or relationship style is prohibited.
2. Consent
Consent is an explicit, freely given, informed yes that can be withdrawn at any time. Silence, an earlier conversation, a subscription, a photo someone sent, or the fact that they came to the date are not consent. A yes given while drunk, high or under pressure is not a yes.
- Only send explicit photos to someone who asked for them or agreed beforehand.
- You can say no at any time without giving a reason. The Not interested signal, a block and a rejection are final: do not try to get around them with another account, another channel or in person.
- Talk about boundaries before you meet. The boundaries card and secret desires help, but always ask for real consent in the moment too.
- Sexual health: talk about protection and testing. Never push anyone into something they do not want.
- In open or couple relationships, your partners’ knowledge and consent matter too. Only sign up as a couple if you both want to.
3. Be your real self
Your profile should be about you: your own recent photos, your real age and your real intentions. Using someone else’s photos, signing up in someone else’s name, pretending to be a made-up person or impersonating a public figure is prohibited. You may only create a couple profile with your partner’s knowledge and consent. Selfie verification lets you show that you are real; the verified badge is no guarantee of a member’s intentions.
4. Adults only
VágyLak is for people over 18 only. No photo of a minor may be uploaded, even if it is not intimate and even if the minor is only in the background. Sexual content depicting minors, or seeking, requesting, possessing or offering it, is a serious crime: we ban the account immediately, preserve the content for the authorities and inform the police.
5. Prohibited content and behaviour
- Advertising, seeking or brokering sexual services for money, gifts or anything else in return, including financial domination.
- Pimping, human trafficking, exploitation, coercion.
- Harassment, threats, intimidation, blackmail, including sextortion (blackmail with intimate images or information).
- Sharing someone’s intimate image or video without consent or threatening to do so (revenge porn), secretly recorded material, and sexual images made or altered with artificial intelligence without consent (deepfakes).
- Fraud: asking for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency or bank details, investment or loan offers, romance scams. We show the recipient a warning on messages asking for money.
- Advertising, spam, promoting other sites, channels or services, and putting contact details (phone number, social media) in profile texts.
- Sharing other people’s personal data (name, address, workplace, phone number, photos) without permission, exposing or outing people.
- Content showing or glorifying violence, self-harm, animal cruelty or sexual acts with animals.
- Offering or seeking drugs, weapons or other illegal goods.
- Hateful, extremist or terrorist content.
- Copyright infringement, using someone else’s account, disrupting VágyLak, automated accounts and mass downloading of data (scraping).
6. Photos
- Profile photo: your own face or figure, not explicit.
- Private album and chat: adult content is allowed, but only with the recipient’s consent. Do not try to save or photograph a view-once photo.
- Only upload someone else’s photo with their permission. Every recognisable person must be an adult and agree to it being shared.
- We keep fingerprints of banned images and check new uploads against them.
7. Groups, events, stories and parties
The same rules apply to groups, events and stories. Group owners and moderators are responsible for keeping order in their group and must follow these guidelines too. Group events are organised by their organiser, not by VágyLak. External events in the party and club calendar are organised by the club or promoter; you sign up on their site, under their terms and privacy rules. In stories, you may only share intimate details about a real, recognisable person with their permission.
8. Reporting
If something is wrong, report it with the button next to the profile, message, photo, group or story. Reporting also blocks: the reported member can no longer write to you. We do not reveal who reported to the person reported. If you report from a disappearing chat, a copy of the last 50 messages stays with the moderators for 30 days so they can look into it.
Bad faith, mass or retaliatory reporting also breaks the rules. Reports from members who send many unfounded reports count with less weight.
9. What happens when rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we give a warning, remove content, restrict messaging or another feature, or suspend or ban the account. If at least three different members report someone who wrote to them within 24 hours, their messaging is automatically paused for 7 days while we review it. Reports from members with an approved profile whose account is at least 2 days old count towards this, so no one can be silenced with fake accounts. Where minors, life or physical safety are at risk, we ban immediately and inform the authorities. We give reasons for every decision, and you can ask for a review (see section 10 of the Terms).
10. If you are in trouble
In immediate danger, call 112. For domestic or sexual violence or human trafficking, the Hungarian national crisis line OKIT is free and open day and night on 06 80 20 55 20. In an emotional crisis, the 116-123 helpline can help. You can also report misuse of intimate images or content involving children on the NMHH Internet Hotline (https://nmhh.hu/internethotline). More tips: Safety and discretion.
